La Casa de la Terraza, a pretty
village house located in front of La Fructuosa, has been completely
restored and is ready for rental for periods of a week or more. Its major
attraction is the large terrace-patio, more than 90 square meters, with
its setting facing south and from which you can enjoy many hours of
sunshine and some of the best views from Gaucín. The terrace looks out
upon the Genal Valley and the views extend to Gibraltar and North Africa,
silhouetted on the horizon. The terrace has all the furniture necessary
to enjoy your meals in the open air or to relax and sunbathe in a
hammock. There is even a swing set with rings for the little ones. Finally,
there is a small swimming pool (2 x 2 meters and one meter deep9 that
will let you refresh yourself during those times of real Andalusian heat.
 The interior
of the house, divided into two floors of 60 square meters each, is
decorated in the typical colours of this region and has furniture that is
a mixture of antique and modern. On the second floor there is a large
living room with open wooden beams in the ceiling that add a special
attraction. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other
with two single beds, each bedroom has a balcony. In this floor there is
as well, a spacious and light-filled bathroom with bathtub. On the first
floor, which open onto the street, there is a charming living room /
dining room with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is completely
equipped, and there is a patio, ideal for mid-day luncheons in the open
air.
The house has at your disposal: a swimming pool with its own filtering
system, TV, CD music player, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator,
microwave oven, toaster, blender, and a woo-burning stove.
