La Fructuosa is an ancient village house in the center of one of
the most beautiful and quietest villages in the Serranía de Ronda.
Gaucín is known as the balcony of the Serranía: The town
offers spectacular views over the valleys of the Genal and Guadiaro rivers
and as far as Gibraltar and Africa.
At the turn of the century the house had already acquired a
reputation as the inn named Pensión La Española.
Continuing the tradition, the current owners
have restored the house with a in-depth but delicate decoration
project. The house has become a convivial and comfortable
village Hotel.
The five large rooms are situated in the upper level of the
house. You can enjoy the view over the Strait of Gibraltar
from any of the rooms or from the open terrace at the top of
the house.

The ground floor, an ancient wine press, served for many years
to provide with wine to the owner family and neighbours.
The press has been preserved, and it is now an original frame
for the restaurant inner room. The savourous dishes can be
also tasted while while enjoying the breathtaking view at the terrace.
